A statement from the Primate on the disaster in Haiti

Archbishop Fred Hiltz, Anglican Church of Canada
January 13, 2010 -

Haiti has been devastated by a terrible earthquake. Thousands are feared to have died and many more injured. The people in Haiti have suffered so much in the past 10 years. Hurricane Jeanne ripped through the island in 2004 and in 2008 tropical storms took a huge toll. Now a new disaster. Through the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund, our church has made an initial donation of $15,000 for emergency relief through Action by Churches Together (ACT).

Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life

Do you have trouble saying no? Can you set limits and still be a loving person? Are you in control of your life? What are legitimate boundaries? Do people take advantage of you? How do you answer someone who wants your time, love, energy, and money? Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend offer biblically based answers to these tough questions as they show us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, our spouses, our children, our friends, our coworkers, and even ourselves.

St Timothy’s Church Bell will chime before major worship times once again. The bell was rung for the first time in many years for our 2009 Christmas Eve services. Property Committee member Mike Baker refurbished the old bell, designed a mechanical motor set-up to have it chime without a rope. A special rededication of the bell will be done at a later date.

Follow the links below to read more about the bell. These articles are also in our 2009 Photo Gallery:
