Christian Movie Night - Seven Pounds

 On Canada Day evening, July 1st. we’re examining the powerful movie “Seven Pounds” at 7 pm. in St. Timothy’s Church. Will Smith stars as a man who sets out to change the lives of seven people . Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, and Barry Pepper also star. We’ll have popcorn and soda pop. Free and open to everyone!

 On June 14th. we began a 7-part bulletin insert series called “Finding Hope in Hard Times” – seven spiritual practices, a faithful steward’s guide. On June 14th. the topic was “Count Your Blessings.” June 21st. topic is “Count Your Cash.” Extra sheets from previous weeks are available from the back tables at both churches.

 St. Timothy’s is hosting a springtime fundraiser – Yard Sale on Saturday, July 4th. Donations of good used items are welcome. (Please no clothes.) Contact ACW President, Dawn Purcell (852-3046). Volunteer workers are needed too.

 Participants at our Wednesday night program say this new adult program is brilliant! Do you struggle finding time in your life? Do you often feel stressed out? Are you tired? This “Take it to the Limit” DVD curriculum program by Andy Stanley runs June 10 to June 24, and July 8 to July 22 in St. Timothy’s Church, 6:30 pm. Each session includes a short presentation, then relaxed small group discussion. This week’s topic: Downtime .
