Summer Study – Explore Jesus as Hero - July 7 to August 11
Saturday, 19 June 2010 09:28
Editor
From July 7 to Aug.11, we study "Jesus 101: Jesus the Supreme Conqueror." Jesus' strategy for victory was countercultural. The Bible describes him as a conquering hero - but a hero who had to die first. In our world, conquering heroes achieve victory with power, not weakness. The sessions bring a fresh perspective on who Jesus is, how he interacted with people in Scripture and how he relates to us.
This Bible program is held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in St. Timothy's Church. Bring a bible and a coffee mug. Visitors and drop-ins are welcome.

On May 16th, St. Paul's enjoyed another Easter Hat Sunday with wonderful hats and just as wonderful smiles! Most of the congregation showed up with bows, flowers, scarves, pins and even pink pigs...yes I said it...pink pigs!! The men wore baseball caps and straw hats. What a turn out! Following the service we had a chance to mix and mingle with a cup of tea or coffee and a muffin. Thanks to Judi Eld for the wonderful pictures!
