A second study is also offered at the same time: "The gospel of Luke: Good News & Great Joy". It is a thorough examination of the entire text of Luke (no video). This fall 65 people participated in our programs! They take place Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in St Timothy's Church. Sessions feature social time, music, discussion, and prayer. Relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of church background.

We’re pleased to announce that our candidate for Vocational Deacon, Cheryl Rafuse will be ordained on January 26, 2009 in OUR PARISH!  This is the feast day of the Conversion of St. Paul. We’re told by Diocesan Bishop Sue Moxley that the sacred worship service will take place at St. Timothy’s.

Cheryl was recommended for ordination on Nov. 1st after 4 years of discernment, education, training and preparation. She will continue her ministries as Pastoral Ministries Committee chair, Baptismal preparation, home communions, pastoral visits and leading worship Thursday morning and on Sundays from time to time. Ordination details will soon be announced. Please hold Cheryl and her husband Mike in prayer as they prepare for this sacred moment in their faith lives. Congratulations Cheryl!
