Hundreds of clergy, lay people and our two bishops are gathered at Dalhousie University over the May 28-30, 2009, weekend for a meeting of Diocesan Synod (church government ). The theme was "Places of Refreshment." In attendance were representatives from our Parish: Michael Holland, Marjorie Holland, alternate, Trudy Cole, Cait Ratcliffe, Youth, Rev. Cheryl Rafuse, deacon, and our Pastor, Rev. Lisa Vaughn.
| Characters of the Bible - August 25 to September 15 |
A new series called "Characters of the Bible" runs Aug. 25 to Sept. 15. Study personalities like Moses, Miriam , Jonah, Solomon, and Mary Magdalene. All sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. in St. Timothy's Church. Free and open to everyone. Bring a coffee mug. INVITE FRIENDS! |
